This course allows you to approach all phases of the oil portrait, from the drawing, then the monochrome layer, the application of colors…
From an image.
We will therefore begin by addressing the principles of drawing with the observation of values, the mixing of colors, brush techniques and their uses.
From the chromatic circle the method of Zorn (19th century Swedish painter) will be applied using titan white, yellow ocher, light cadnium red and ivory black to create any portrait.
In a few days, Judith will give you the confidence to take your first portraits or improve your technique!

At the time of booking, a valid credit card is required to confirm your registration for the painting retreat.
A first deposit of €350 per person will be charged a few days after booking. You will of course receive a confirmation email.
You may cancel your booking free of charge up to 45 days before the start of the retreat, either via the booking management link or by contacting us directly. In this case, the deposit will be fully refunded to the same credit card.
From 45 days before the start of the retreat, this deposit becomes non‑refundable, as it corresponds to the instructor’s commitment and remuneration.
A second deposit of €350 per person is then charged 45 days before the retreat begins.
The remaining balance of your stay is payable on arrival, preferably in cash.
